No, but I know his entries. Today I tested to get paifu from logs of this site: tenhou.net/ranking.html namely ASAPIN's logs. I couldn't get any log between 2009 to 2011 working (example which did not work: 2011120822gm-00a9-0000-d9e166ec). This means I can only work with logs from 2013. Did you test any other files than logs from 2013? What is your experience?
But I know that before 2012 year log format was different. I don't know how, but it can be studied. One, wall generation algorithm changed to mersenne twister. My be somewhat else. I know, parser at now cannot work with Hirosima (sanma) mahjong logs. I want to add sanma mahjong support (when play to it).
There are many logs of games of higher dan lobby (Phoenix) on tenhou site (鳳凰卓 page, archives or pages with html.gz extension).
